It was not enough for me to be a writer, a poet. I was looking for something more, and I found myself, spontaneously, in film, through the process of its creation. I wanted to express my feelings not only through writing but also through the moving image. I wanted my words to come alive, as well as the nature and the people from my verses and prose.
The challenge is to be an independent filmmaker — to make all decisions alone, without compromising the integrity of the idea or its realization by using means that constrain and bind. In this chosen way, I am able to fully, freely, and authentically capture my uniqueness, myself, through my own perspective and effort. All of this – with limited means but unlimited dedication. What a venture!
